NUCLEAR POWER EXPO and HYDROGEN EXPO 2025 – Piacenza, Italy, 21-23 May

From May 21st to 23rd 2025 at Piacenza Expo, two major events took place simultaneously: HYDROGEN EXPO, Italy’s leading exhibition entirely dedicated to the hydrogen sector, and the inaugural edition of NUCLEAR POWER EXPO, the country’s first exhibition-conference dedicated to nuclear energy.
Tectubi Raccordi SpA and Allied International Group played a key role at both events — participating in the HYDROGEN EXPO within the Confindustria Piacenza cluster, and standing out at NUCLEAR POWER EXPO with a dedicated Tectubi Raccordi SpA booth, showing three high-impact piping components.
The three-day event was packed with high-level meetings, conferences, and expert contributions, reinforcing the critical and complementary role that nuclear power and hydrogen are set to play in the future of energy.
One key takeaway: economically sustainable green hydrogen production will increasingly rely on integration with nuclear power, highlighting the growing synergy between the two sectors.
The events also underlined a shared goal, such as achieving greater energy independence and environmental sustainability. Credit goes to the visionary event organizer, Fabio Potestà, whose bold decision to unite the hydrogen and nuclear sectors in one integrated context proved to be a winning move.
Tectubi Raccordi SpA once again proved itself a leading player in both sectors. Its fittings, already supplied to major gas distribution networks, are fully certified for hydrogen transport.<br
A highlight of the event was the compelling contribution of Pietro Francesconi, Commercial Director of the Nuclear Division, who spoke during a panel dedicated to the nuclear sector’s supply chain. His remarks effectively showcased Tectubi Raccordi SpA’s strategic positioning — both as a key player in the European and global nuclear ecosystem, and as a valued voice within top-tier industry associations.
The gala dinner at the historic Palazzo Alberoni, with a 20-strong team from Tectubi Raccordi SpA and Allied International Group in attendance, provided a truly memorable close to the event.
